* Purpose: Admission into undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs related to the merchant navy, shipping, and maritime management.


Eligibility Criteria for IMU-CET



To apply for IMU-CET, students must meet specific requirements:
For UG Courses (Like B.Tech, B.Sc., DNS):
* Age Limit:
* Minimum: 18 years
* Maximum: 25 years (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST)
* Educational Qualification:
* Must have passed 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% marks overall and 50% in English.
* Medical Fitness:
* Must be physically and medically fit, including good eyesight (6/6 vision in each eye for Deck side courses)

Syllabus for IMU-CET



The syllabus is based on Class 11th & 12th NCERT level.
* Physics: Laws of motion, work-energy theorem, gravitation, electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, modern physics.
* Chemistry: Atomic structure, periodic table, chemical bonding, hydrocarbons, acids & bases, organic chemistry basics.
* Mathematics: Algebra, calculus, coordinate geometry, probability, trigonometry, vectors, matrices.
* English: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension.
* GK & Aptitude: Current affairs, reasoning, quantitative aptitude.
